I still miss Dr. Kelly so much. We had 30 plus years of total trust, caring and long friendship. I should be grateful for that, but still, when I need dental care, I’m saddened that he’s no longer there for me to turn to. He’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

There isn’t a day that goes by when I drive by the office or past an old rental in Branford that I think how much we miss him and what a beautiful, kind man he was. He must certainly is an angel among us.

He was the best dentist. I remember switching over to him because the dentist I had told me I had a bunch of cavities between my teeth and I was shocked. So, my parents recommended Dr Kelly who immediately told me I had no cavities. He was honest and trustworthy. More importantly, he was a kind and gentle man. I remember how he always spoke so fondly of his family and how he was always smiling and positive. He exuded happiness and joy. He was just so easy going and always glad to see you. He made a difference.

He made going to the dentist a pleasure. Warm and caring, made everyone feel comfortable. And his dental work was extraordinary. He. Will never be forgotten by anyone who was fortunate enough to have met him.

We will always remember Dr. Kelly with great fondness. He had a special place in our hearts. Bill & Priscilla Marks

I was so shocked and saddened by the recent passing of Dr. Kelly. I will always remember him as a wonderful dentist and a very fine man. I will particularly remember one Sunday when he came into the office for me because l was having a dental problem,even though he was having a picnic at his home the very same day. I was so grateful for this which shows what concern he had for his patients. He was truly a kind man and he will be very missed by my husband and myself. Dr.Kelly, now you are in the hands of God but we won't say "goodbye" we will only say " till we meet again" God bless you and your lovely family.

I am so deeply saddened by the passing of my friend Tom. He has always been my best friend first and my Dentist second. He was there to congratulate me when my first son was born 42 years ago and helped me in many ways too numerous to print. To Dr. Kelly's family and staff - I am so shocked and sorry about his passing. He was such a great dentist - I traveled out of my way to see him for the past ten years. He was so patient and kind. He will be greatly missed.

I was shocked and sorry to read of Dr Kellys passing .He has been my dentist for thirty years. I watched his children grow through his office pictures and his stories-from little girls in tutus and face paint to beautiful brides. He adored them and was generous in the sharing of their great weddings , the birth of his grandchildren, his son in laws, his wife and his love of his beautiful home by the sea. He was so grateful that he lived through the first attack. While its very sad to see this kind and wonderful man die so young what a blessing the last few years must have been-knowing how very tenuous life can be.
My condolences to all his wonderful office staff members as well. I'm sure you all are devastated by the enormous hole his absence will bring and my thoughts are with you as well as his family.

I was truly shocked to receive the letter advising me of Dr. Kelly's untimely passing. I have been a patient of his for approximately 30 years. After my retirement from a firm in Wallingford seven years ago, I continued to travel from Terryville CT for appointments. Dr. Kelly was a superb dentist. In addition he was always pleasant, honest, informative, and caring. He also was a good listener with a great sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by me. My deepest regrets to his family and friends.

I was a patient of Dr. Kelly's for many years. I will miss him a great deal. Although there are many dentists which are much closer to my area I would never consider switching. I just saw him less than a month ago when he told me the story about why he became a dentist. He wanted to make people feel good about smiling since when he was a child he knew a boy who was teased about his teeth. He talked about his beloved family every time I saw him. Please accept my most sincere condolences and know that Dr. Kelly will be deeply missed.

Tom was one of the smartest, colorful people in our circle of friends. He made life interesting and enjoyable with his quick and easy wit and affable manor.

As our families grew we stayed in contacted despite the time contestants placed in our way. Nevertheless, we all wish we had spent more time with your Husband, Dad and Friend as his early departure reminds us that life is indeed short.

I saw Dr. Kelly as a patient on the day before Thanksgiving. He was wearing a mask because he had a "cold" and didn't want to "contaminate" patients. Before I left, I asked him how he was really. He sat there and said, "This has been the best year of my life. My youngest daughter was married, and I really like all the men my daughters have married. I have a grand-son and a grand-daughter. I feel very content."

He has left us all so suddenly, which is hard for those left behind. May you take comfort in what he said just before Thanksgiving.

So very sorry to hear about Tom's passing and my love to Denise, Sarah, Caitlyn and Daisy. He will be missed by his family, patients and friends. Rest in peace.

Complete and utter sadness in hearing this news. The kindest of men and the best dentist ever. When I was a little girl I had a major mishap with a dentist. When I told him how hard it was to find someone he put me at ease and always made me feel comfortable. He would always make me smile. He loved his family so much. We would always talk about them at every visit. My sincerest condolences to all of you. I know he is an angel watching over you all.

When I was 18 years old I walked into Dr. Kelly's office looking for a new dentist. I saw his "We Cater to Cowards" plaque and felt immediately reassured. That was 1981 and little did we know then that 34 years later he would still my dentist and my friend. He eventually knew my family through Rotary events and his practice and I felt that I knew his through stories we would exchange when we would see each other over those many years; jobs, schools, sports, weddings, vacations, college, grandchildren and loss. He took wonderful care of me and my family and was gifted when it came to making beautiful smiles! We recently joked about just how long I'd been his patient.

I will miss him very much. But I will always carry fond memories of him in my heart.

To his family, I wish you peace soon, comfort today and wonderful memories forever.

And over the few years I knew him he made me feel more like a friend than a patient. Always talking of his girls and the grandchildren and interested in whatever I was doing. He was my dentist but also a friend. His Daughter Caitlin did gymnastics with my daughter (Jaime) so I knew him a long time. He will be truly missed. A wonderful man and a great dentist. He loved his girls with so much heart. His office is filled with so many family photo's I just would love to look at them all. He always would chat about them every time I was there.

DR. Kelly was a great person my girls have been going to him for 23 years. I always loved seeing him. He would go get his little note pad and write down all the places we should visit every time we went to Key West. Our hearts are broken. He truly was a beautiful person
