Thomas J Koepp

Thomas J. Koepp, age 64 of Lincolnshire IL, passed away on March 13, 2026, following a lengthy illness.

Tom was born on April 20, 1961 in Chicago, IL., the son ofLouis and Margaret (Dagenais) Koepp.  In 1963 his family returned to Marquette, MI., where Tom grew up on Bluff St.  Tom proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He attended DeVry Institute of Technology, earning an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology.  On November21, 1987, Tom was united in marriage to Kyong Son at Highland Presbyterian Church in Vernon Hills, IL.  Tom was employed as a Field Service Technician.  Traveling to the U.P. of Michigan to visit family, and jumping into the car and going on adventures were some of the things that Tom enjoyed doing the most.

Tom is survived by his wife, Kyong (Son) Koepp of Lincolnshire, IL, his son Ross Koepp of Highland Park, IL, his daughter Jacqueline (David) Silva of Chicago, IL; along with his siblings, Tim of Vietnam, Terry (Tracie) Koepp of Marion, IA., Tammie (Brian) Alanen of Marquette, MI., and Tracey Carlson of Ishpeming, MI.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Margaret (Peggy) Koepp.

Per Tom's wishes, a small family service was held in Lincolnshire, IL.

Tom will be missed.  His memory will live in the hearts of all who loved him.  He will also be truly missed by his chubby Chihauhua, his buddy, Al.
