TJ taught me so much about fishing and boats. Everything I drop a line or throttle up a body he will be in my mind.

TJ, I honestly and truly am glad and honored to become a part of your family for the last 7-8 years through the strong friendship and brotherly love that Jaysen and I share together! I enjoyed listening to your stories and learning of your journeys in our brief visits when I was at the office or nursery visiting with y'all! Your wisdom and strong love for your family has molded Jaysen , Jacob and Dillon in to very successful and proud men that sure do love you! You will be missed and I can only hope to one day see the beauty of life through my eyes as you did! God Bless TJ, we love you!

It's hard to say good bye. I wish we had one more chance to spend another day with you. The only thing that hurts more than losing you are all the days and years living without you. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal. I love you so much TJ. I will see you again one day in heaven. I hope you know how much I love and miss you.

How can I possibly describe the loss I feel at a time like this. My heart has been ripped out of my chest and only by the Grace of GOD will I have peace again. My BROTHER was more than a brother, a friend, a fishing partner, a motorcycle companion, a real soul mate and all the things we did together put together. We shared everything in life there was to share and we had a great time doing it. I loved seeing him come home after his trips to Alaska and Texas and I sure hurt inside when he left. He was one person in this world but he meant the world to so many people. His charm, his character, his loyolaty, his comittment to his family and friends. I LOVE YOU TJ, Dave

Jaysen
When someone loses a loved one who has meant so much to them it's hard to know how to begin to express our sympathy and words of comfort. We can only say that because you are so important to us, your sorrow touches us so deeply... and we want you to know that we care much more than we could ever find words to tell you. With our Deepest Sympathy. My Love and Paul's Love

Chief Lange was a great leader. During my time in Freeman Dining Facility we shared some great times with plenty of laughter. He was a fair leader, which no controversy. He was a warm, kind & gentle man. I had just talking about Chief Lange. He will truly be missed & never forgotten.

Goodbye old friend .........

November 18, 2011

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. TJ was a wonderful man. I got the opportunity to know him on a daily basis working in the office for Jaysen. And looking back I would not take back any of those days or times, we became good friends we would talk about everything and I got to learn so much about his life and history and especially the vietnam era. He was an amazing man with so much knowledge and such a big heart. He will be missed deeply. His memories and love will carry and remain with his family and myself and everyone he knew, because he was so loved and respected. I am glad to have spent those times with him no matter what is was, looking stuff up on the computer, checking his mail, waiting for a package or helping him print and download pictures for whatever project he was working on. This is a very sad time and as you go through the next days, months, and years may you know that TJ will always be your guardian angel watching out over you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of TJ. I worked with him every summer in Alaska since 1996 and it's not going to be the same with out him. TJ always had a smile on his face and I never heard him say a negative thing about another person. I am thankful for all of his years of service to our country! May you rest in peace my friend, you will be missed but we won't forget you.

I can't tell you how much I will miss this guy. He worked for me as a boat captain and deck hand for more than 12 years. Without question, the most requested boat captain I had. His service and loyalty to this country, to the men and women who have served, make him one of only a few. I am honored and proud to have known and worked with him. TJ's humor, energy, good heart, dedication and friendship, will be in my memories and of those who knew him for a lifetime.
My sincere condolences to his family.

"Lange"; "I want Lange on this mission"; "Go see Lange about that". That's what we called him then, "Lange". I worked with him as his pilot and as his Gun Platoon leader for the good part of a year and a half in Nam. Oh the stories I would tell about him in later years; about this larger than life combat warrior and dedicated crew chief. No one did his job better or with more enthusiasm. I almost had to order him to take an R&R. He just couldn't leave his beloved 462 gunship. Years later, after I realized how important it was to get back into contact with my combat brothers, I met up again with "TJ". It was a joyous experience. TJ and several of us realized how important this was and began working on projects that would give this great joy to our other Centaur Brothers. He hadn't changed a bit, jumping in on this mission with both feet and that excitement generating personality of his. What would we have done without him in Vietnam; how can we go on without him now. It breaks my heart that he has been taken from us.

I served with TJ in Vietnam; he was a crewchief on a Huey gunship, and I was a pilot. TJ was outwardly fearless in combat, and a consummate professional.
I was lucky enough to reunite with him at a military reunion, and our friendship was immediately renewed. I am proud to have known TJ, and be able to call him both my friend and brother in arms. He will be missed by all of us who knew him, in conflict and in peacetime. Condolences to his family.
The Centaurs will always fondly remember TJ.

TJ loved to make people smile, he was a warm gental man with a love of life. He loved his family very much and talked about them often. I always enjoyed being around him both in Alaska and in Florida. The world is a smaller place without him. God Bless you TJ.
