Hey Tom...It's been 12 years since you left this world...I reread through the messages left by people in this guest book... I know they still think of you fondly...as do I and your three other living sibs. Say hi to Mom, Dad, and Mina... You live on in my memories and dreams. XO - Ame

Tom was a brilliant second grader often offering good suggestions for songs and dance maneuvers as we prepared a program for parents. He was colorful personality who added zest to daily life in our classroom

I worked with Tom at The Big Kids with Ron Peterson. The two things I will always remember is how he was so kind to everyone and secondly, those spatulas sticking out of his wig when he was doing a spot on impersonation of Julia Child!!
Say hi to Ron for me! Jane

You lived life fully, honestly, and to the brim with love for all your family, friends and colleagues. Now you get to sing for the Big Guy in the sky......Well done Tom! Save a place for us in the choir loft. We will miss you terribly until then.....

Hello Minneapolis/St. Paul friends of Thomas Kirk Larson! Please pass this information on to interested colleagues!
I am so grateful to be involved in the planning for his memorial celebrations! Tom was often my roommate in Dale Warland Singer tours as well as a valuable singer in my Jerry Rubino Plus performing/outreach ensemble of singers/actors!
Friday night (May 10 from 4 – 7 PM at Washburn-McCreavy in Edina) is primarily an opportunity to greet the family and to share stories and memories with those gathered at the funeral home……a piano will be there but we request that it be used for background offerings!
The Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10 AM on Sat. the 11th of May at St. Olaf Catholic Church in downtown Minneapolis. The choir from St. Olaf will be leading mass liturgy for the service. In addition, a choir of Tom's colleagues from all of his connections is invited to rehearse and sing 2 gifts of music
I am grateful and humbled to serve as conductor of this group. Lynn Trapp will be at the piano/organ. If you choose to participate, please come at 9 AM promptly to rehearse 2 choral works and a 3rd piece together with the St. Olaf Church choir for the memorial service. I suggest that you bring a black folder.
There is a reception/luncheon planned for AFTER the memorial service in the Gathering Room at St. Olaf Church. If you would like to offer a BRIEF tribute to Tom at that time, you will be welcome to offer your gift (spoken and sung) at that time. A piano and 2 microphones will be available for our use. Dan Digre, a member of Touch of Class, will be coordinating and facilitating this time of celebration. Please plan for significant and limited presentations so that all who wish to share may be heard. The time after the Mass will be shared by those wishing to offer artistic gifts with those who wish to speak with family so please be considerate of multiple requests of time and space!
St. Olaf church is organizing a light reception after the Mass. Since one of Tom's signature “Julia” routines involved having a tuna casserole in the church basement after funerals….so it seems only fitting to try to include this. If you would be willing to create and bring one, it would be appreciated.

To Tom's family, you have my most sincere condolences. I grew up with Tom, met in 2nd grade, went through scouting together & school, fished, skied water and snow together, we did so much and we were such good friends. 4 years ago we reconnected, and picked right up where we left off as friends. I was honored to see him one last time at the Maplewood Auditorium with A Touch of Class. We spent much of our time reminiscing some of the greatest highlights like going through the car wash with our skis on the roof rack, we made some hilarious mistakes. I wish you all peace and serenity
