Buddy was a inspiration both professionally and personally to me as a a young very officer in the Army Reserve. He was the real deal in so many ways, a professional soldier, confidant and thorough gentleman with the most infectious laugh I had the pleasure to hear.Rest in peace Buddy!

I had the exceptional honour of working with CPL Lea; he was an inspiration to soldiers and officers alike. His historic legacy could not be overshadowed by his genuine friendly nature, professional approach to soldiering and desire to encourage and inspire those who came after him. I feel privileged to have worked with him.
