I first met Tom in the early 80s on the construction work at Blytheville AFB in NE Arkansas. Tom was intelligent, knowledgeable and as honest as the day is long and the first opportunity we had, we hired him to come to work for the Corps of Engineers. He worked on some of our largest and most technically complex construction projects over the next 20 years and established himself as a very valuable asset not only to the Government, but also to the contractors he worked with who were from the US but also from many other countries. He was a friend to everyone he worked with and will be missed. Rest in peace Tom.

While "Big Tommy", as his mother used to call him, will be sorely missed here on Earth, he is having a grand Tim in Heaven.

Thomas was my buddy. He had a kind heart, wore his emotions on his sleeve, and never met a stranger. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Thomas, you would never forget the experience. Rest in peace, friend.
