Thomas Louis Joseph Patrick "Lou" MARCOUX

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at his residence, on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, Thomas Louis "Lou" Joseph Patrick Marcoux, of Grand Bend formerly of Oshawa and Ottawa, passed away at age 83. Beloved husband of Sharon Violet (Lee) Marcoux. Loved father and father-in-law of Lee Marcoux and Karen Marcoux both of Grand Bend and Michelle and Bill Schuneman of Plymouth, MN. Cherished grandfather of Jasmin, Andrew, Logan and Claire. Dear brother of Claudie Sawyer of Gore's Landing. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his father Thomas Marcoux and his mother Germaine (Fortier) Marcoux. Survived by KirinVI.
Lou was a civil servant with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Lou's love of the water sparked his life long adventures of wind surfing, scuba diving and sailing. He was a compassionate, kind soul and was like a father to all, and a warrior of freedom.
A Celebration of Life and in spirit of his love of music "LouFest" will be held at a later date, time and location to be announced. Thank you to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.
