Thomas Paul Mastic
December 29, 1924 - June 21, 2014
Myrtle Beach, SC
Thomas Paul Mastic, age 89, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Grandstrand Health Care.
Born in Dundalk, MD a son of Thomas Paul and Theresa Wrona Mastic. Mr. Mastic lived in the Metro D.C. area for 37 years before retiring to Myrtle Beach. He was a US Army Air Corp Veteran serving his Country during World War II. Prior to retirement he was employed by the Department of Navy as Director of Avionics and Electronics Division for 30 years. Mr. Mastic was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and loved to sing in the community chorus in Myrtle Beach and Virginia. He also served on his HOA Board at Cane Patch Condominiums.
Surviving Mr. Mastic are his sons: Robert S. Mastic of San Diego, Ca., Daryl R. Stockton and wife, Elizabeth of Burke Va., and Kenneth H. Stockton and wife, Cindy of Dumfries, Va.; brother: James Mastic of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Mary Ann Vernon of Merritt Island, Fl.; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 28, 2014 at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Directed by McMillan-Small Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, with a Rosary and Prayer service to be held during the 6-8 PM visitation.

It was my privilege to know Tom and Helen and be part of their lives while we were serving Horry County through Mercy Hospice. I know both are in the presence of their God and each other. My condolences and prayers for you as you grieve Tom's death. Sr. Connie Fahey

Tom was a faithful visitor to his Uncle and Aunt, Andy and Ann Mastic in Canonsburg, Pa. He was also faithful in keeping is touch with all family members. He and Helen honored us by attending our Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration six years ago.
A golf game with Tom, Jim and Andy Jr. was always a very special event! We extend our condolences to all of the family.
