Tom was a cherished friend to our family during our time on Wessex Lane. Even after Mom and Dad relocated to the Villas for their retirement, Tom made sure to visit them. Those visits became the highlights of their summers. When Dad fell ill, his friendship with Tom remained strong, and always filled with jokes and laughter.
One of the memorable gifts Tom sent Dad was a hat with the words "I'm too old for this s..." Dad found endless amusement in this gift, wearing the hat proudly in the nursing home. The sight of Dad wearing that hat brought smiles to everyone who saw it.
We consider ourselves fortunate to have had such a dear friend in Tom. It brings us comfort to envision Tom and Dad reunited in heaven, where their joyful camaraderie, jokes, and laughter continue on.

He was the greatest brother anyone could of asked for. Tom & I shared the same month birthdays & we would send funny cards to each other every year. I still have every card he has sent me for the last 40 years. He made my life easier as a child by stepping in and being a Father figure as my dad had passed away when I was seven. I spent many years with Tom at his house, down the shore, out on his boat and even fishing with him. He truly was a remarkable person. You will always be in my heart and never forgotten. I Love you Tom. Your baby sister Beth Anne
