Hello Pat -
I was sorry to read of your brother Tom's passing. Tom was a classmate - NWC 1971 and, though I did not know him very well, I remember him as I very friendly, kind person. This is not starting to be a great 2020, with Timmy's sudden passing. My condolences to you and your family.

To the family: I remember Fr. Mitchell, or "Tom" as we new him, as a student at Northwest Catholic in the 70's. He was two years ahead of me. Though I didn't really know him, he was a nice guy. May he rest in peace and God bless the family.

I remember babysitting all the Mitchell kids on Cornwall St. We lived 3 houses away. Tommy was about 11 with his red hair and freckles he was such a sweet and sensitive boy and a help to me with his younger siblings. I'm sorry he passed away at this young age but pleased to know that he grew up to have such a happy and satisfying life. My condolences to all the Mitchell family.

Ana Maria and I are sad that "Padre Tomas" has passed away. He was our dear friend and Pastor at St. Rose of Lima Church, East Hartford from 1999-2004. During his time at St. Rose he increased the number of Latino Parishoners and attendance at the Spanish mass. We enjoyed spending time with Fr. Tom and his big smile and loud laugh filled us both with joy! We extend our condolences to the family.
