Tommy did a lot for me, someone I could talk to, the butcher who supplied pigs for the Puerto Rican festivals in Youngstown at cost, and the man who introduced me to the pleasure of a cordial glass of Galliano. But it was that simple grace that you at ease. The truth be known I just mentioned him to Susan last week and found this today.
The world may be a little emptier, but never will it be sad when we remember.
Penny, Gretchen, Earldine, to you and for you, our prayers and love.

I remember your dad from many years ago at the meat market on Chartiers Ave. I worked on the other side for Braurman's Fruit Market while I was in high school. He was always so kind to all of us girls. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Uncle Tom, you and Aunt Mary had such impact in my life. So many memorable moments, so many stories that I shared with my children. You will live on through my children, just like Aunt Mary does. I know that Aunt Mary looks down on me and laughs because my girls love to design clothes and sew. Thank you for being a special part of my life. I love you and will miss you.

We send our love and deepest condolences. Beth, Ken, Katie and Sarah.

Tommy became my honorary godfather after Mary's brother died quite young. He always helped make us so welcome in their home. He was very good to our family; I remember going to his shop in Ambridge, and what he charged Mom was much less than the register would have said. Tommy also helped Dad butcher the deer from our hunting trips and shared his lovely red wine with Dad. He was a generous man with a heart of gold, and he will be missed. My love and prayers to Penny, Gretchen and Earldine.

Our hearts are filled with sadness. Our deepest condolences and prayers are with you and your families. Our entire family has so many fond memories of your father. He was such a wonderful man and father figure. We know that your father and our father are in heaven smoking a Parodi and catching up on old times. As the days move forward I'm sure that together as a family we will continue to share stories about your father as we always have. If we could, we would say to your father, "Tom, thank you for the love you shared with the entire Ferraro family and for your guidance and the teachings that you gave to us all."

Cousin, mentor, friend, employer and confidant--only a few of the deeply treasured roles that Tom Narcisi played in my life--especially at a time when a young man was trying to make sense of a rapidly onrushing world.

Though we became separated by thousands of miles and Tom was not one to call or write, I always felt his presence. I continue my attempt to adopt his direct and good-humored approach to life--a life that for him was centered in the love he had for his wife, Mary, his daughters, Penelope, Gretchen & Earldine and a day of honest work.
Well done, Tom. Thank you.
