I am shocked to read what I am reading! Fortunately, yet unfortunately, I have been well and haven't made a point to visit Dr. Nguyen for well check up. Looking up his info to reference on medical paperwork and I am shocked to read all of this!!!! My heart goes out to his wife and daughter. He loved you both so very much!!!! All of the comments are how we, just patients, shared small moments that Dr. Nguyen loved to share! May God bless you and keep you at peace. Dr. Nguyen is in a place where he can watch over you and guide you!

I was a patient of Dr.Nguyen and a very dear friend he was always easy going and made me feel moe than just a patient he will be missed.

I miss you more than ever. I broke my wrist last year and needed a second opinion. You kept me from having back surgery and few years ago. You were the smartest doctor I ever had. I like the way you would talk straight and tell it like it really was and what I should do to take care of my health. I hope you are in a happy and peaceful place. Thank you for being my doctor. You can never be replaced.

Dr Nguyen has been my Dr for over 10 years I am deeply saddened by his passing he will be greatly miss.

I'm Sincerely saddened by your loss. I Boasted about my Dr. I was a bit over weight and my cholesterol was high. I asked him to prescribe some weight loss pills or something to suppress my hunger. He said No, go exercise and eat better. He could have easily pulled out his prescription pad but he didn't. He suggested the right thing and safest treatment. Well I joined the gym, ate healthier, followed his advice, and when I followed up my cholesterol was normal and I was just healthier. He was probably happier than me. I loved him for his genuine care and concern. Rest in peace. You will always be remembered.

I was a current patient of Dr. Nguyen and greatly saddened by the loss of my friend and doctor. He will be greatly missed, it was always a pleasure to visit with him, never in a rush and really took the time and always expressed a genuine concern with me, family and our health. Always light hearted and quick with a joke or question about how life was going. I would always reciprocate and ask how he, Nina and beautiful daughter Chloe were doing, he was so proud of them! And as always talked about computers, networks and a lot of ideas that he would get about the office computers and his home computers came from discussions we would have...keeping up to date with the latest technologies. Always that passion for learning, I remember he was trying to learn more spanish in efforts to communicate with his patients, I suggested to him, use the google translator, he was tickled, made his day and implemented immediately!!!

I was shocked to receive a letter with news of your passing. It hard to believe. Rest in peace in the bosom of The Lord.

Dr Nguyen was our physician for many years and I can say he saved my wife's life with his skills, compassion and commitment to help all of us who admired him...not only as a Doctor but a a friend and caring person. May the Lord receive you with grace in his grandeur.

Dr Thomas Nguyen was my Doctor for over ten years , it was always fun talking with him on health and IT related topics. I am extremely shocked to know this today as I called his office for appointment. I am saddened and have no words . There are very few doctors in USA to whom you call for any medical help and they will return your call immediately. I lost my family doctor and friend.
I pray to Almighty to give strength to his family to cope with this tragedy.

the last time we spoke I thanked him for saving my life. Because of him we caught my cancer early. When I thank him he got a little choked up. I said to myself he really cares about his profession.

Being a IT guy myself he and I would have nice great talks about computer repairs and he would always have lots of questions for me, since he loved working on them. We are so sorry to hear about Thomas. Stephanie and I remember Thomas and his smile fondly. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I am overwhelmed with sadness. I just found out Dr. Nguyen has passed. I will feel so empty when I am at my next doctor appointment, expecting and waiting for him to walk in the door with his blue scrubs, white doctor's coat, boots and an endearing smile. He always motivated me to do better, exercise more, eat right and keep on going. I will always remember the stories he would tell me about Chloe and how much his face beamed with the love he had for her. In a couple of weeks I will be going to Destin Florida for the first time, a place he loved and encouraged me to visit. I will miss him greatly, but find comfort in knowing that he is in the presence of God and all of His glory. I am sure God embraced him and told him well done my son, in you I am very pleased. Praying for his family, that the Comforter envelops them with a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Thomas - Such great memories we've shared in our group of friends. In so many of our birthday celebrations, you always acted as if it were your birthday when it's not and made it so much fun for all of us with your genuine joy. You lived life abundantly and loved deeply...and brought so much laughter and joy for all of us. I will always remember our last dinner and conversation together. You were filled with the Spirit and in quiet tears, you shared with me that you cherished depths in relationships and that you were seeking God's purpose. I know He has you in His kingdom now. I was a patient of Dr. Nguyen. He was such a true family doctor. He was there at 2 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon. I loved his high-tech gadgets. Mostly, I just so appreciated that he cared and wanted to help. He helped find my cancer when no one was listening. He was so proud of Chloe. He often spoke of her guitar playing and her sense of humor. He was a rare person. I am so sorry for your loss.

My husband and I plus children were patients of Dr. Nguyen for over 10 years. During that time, I got to know him pretty well. He was more than a doctor to me. He was my friend! I knew he genuinely cared for me. I am heartbroken to know I will never get to see him again! May God bless Dr. Nguyen and his entire family. I know he is in Heaven. He is greatly missed.

It is the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you will remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seams like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will push the pain away and bring back smiles. Dr Nguyen I will miss your bright and beautiful smile!!

I remember Dr. Nguyen as being so calm. He told me my blood pressure was 210/130. I said "that is high!!! What is the highest you've ever seen?" He said "210/130". When I lost 65 lbs, back to normal weight, he was so proud, and always told me I looked so fantastic and so healthy. He enjoyed the part of medicine where he made people well. Thank you Dr. Nguyen, I hope you have found peace. My prayers are with the Nguyen family at this time.

Our sympathy for your unimaginable loss. I knew Thang when we were part of this nerdy clique from Rice University. We had so many laughs watching the "boys" having watermelon eating contest at one of the balcony at the dorm and trips to Huntsville State Park and Galveston's West Beach. He was always "game" for whatever antics we wanted to do like holding him upside down and wedged him into one of those circular wall at one of the picnic section. He was always the life of the party. I was fortunate enough to have been able to visit Uncle Thomas, Aunt Nina and my cousin Chloe this past Thanksgiving of 2013 (just about 8 months ago). Although we are miles apart (with you in Texas and me in Minnesota) and although I only got the chance to see you a handful of times, that never changed the fact that you were such a caring uncle. Although these moments may have seemed minuscule to you, these moments I shared with you this past Thanksgiving are moments I have and will cherish forever: you picking me up from the airport, us battling it out over who got to pay for groceries for dinner, home-made breakfast by my Uncle, my Uncle allowing me to assist with putting up Christmas lights for the holidays and celebrating my last night in Houston, TX at your friend's birthday as well as me treating you, me and Aunt Nina to Jack In The Box burgers to absorb the drinks we had at the party! That was HONESTLY one of my most favorite trips of my entire life because I got a chance to spend quality, individual time with relatives I've had my entire life but got to know on a much better level this time around. When I found out about your passing, it was extremely sad for all of us. I don't know why you left at such a young age, but we all love and miss you very much. Right now, I know that you are in a better place, and I know that you are watching over your family until the day that we all meet again in Heaven. I was very very sad and still find it hard to believe when my mother called today and said that Thang passed away. Thang was my best friend growing up in Viet Nam. Weekly I would ride my bike to his house then we walked together to the country club, Le Cercle, swam, and back to his house for games and snacks. We were in cub scout and boy scout together. I remember spending a week with him at his parents' house in Huntsville, we had so much fun that summer. I will never forget those wonderful memories as well as his infectious laugh. Even though we have not kept in touch, but Thang left an indelible mark in my life. I will not forget him for his friendship, his kindness, his laughter, and the honor to have known him. To Nina, Chloe, and Thang's family, please accept our deepest condolences, and may Thang rest in peace. Good bye my friend.

I last saw him when I was running the Chevron Marathon 2014 in mile 22 along Memorial Drive. He gave me encouragement to finish the race when I was hurting real bad. I was his patient too and always accomodating with my schedule. Yes he wears only boots or running shoes. He may see you in Starbucks if it fits your schedule. Really amazing doctor and friend!
