Joseph Woodrow Robertson, Sr.

Joseph Woodrow Robertson Sr., 58, of Madison Heights, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Odd Fellow's Home.

He was born Nov. 30, 1950, in Carroll County, and was employed at the Odd Fellow's Home for 37 years and had retired from the Old Virginia Brick Company.

He is survived by two children, Joseph W. Robertson Jr. of Madison Heights and Kelly A. Robertson of Lynchburg; special friends, Nancy Schmitt and Marion and Beth Lloyd, all of Madison Heights; and all the caregivers at the Odd Fellows Home.

A graveside service will conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Meade Cemetery by the Rev. Larry Fitzgerald.

I will miss taking care of Joe,he was truly a special resident at the Oddfellows Home who always brought a smile to my face when I came to work and I feel blessed to have known him,his blue eyes and smile will be greatly missed.My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to his friend Nancy who was always there when ever Joe needed her,God Bless.
