Thomas Plummer Obituary
Tom attended Crawford County High School and graduated with the Class of 1984. He went on to have a successful career as an Electronic Field Technician with Prosegur EAS USA.
In his free time, Tom enjoyed helping others, fishing, traveling and snorkeling. He found peace and comfort in his faith and was active in the public ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He worshipped at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, specifically the Tice Congregation in Fort Myers, FL.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Tice Congregation, located at 5421 Tice St, Fort Myers, FL 33905.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Tom's memory to the worldwide work at jw.org or donations can be made to assist the family with the unexpected funeral expenses via the following gofundme link: https://gofund.me/55e0dee8.
Tom Plummer will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.

I miss you every minute and I can't believe you're gone. I miss your laugh, your smile, and that twinkle in your eye when you looked at me. I miss being snuggled up to you listening to your heartbeat and the way you'd pull me close and hold me tight. I miss your tender kisses and your long hugs as you whispered softly in my ear, "I love you." You were my best friend. I know you're safe in Jehovah's memory and I will see you again, but the waiting will be the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. Thank you for loving me and letting me love you. You will always have a place in my heart that nothing or no one else can fill. I love you, babe! Until we meet again...

Tom was a joy to work with. I'm the Service Coordinate so talked to him almost everyday. When he was stuck on a highway in traffic in Florida, he would send me funny memes. He made my days much more fun! He was always helpful, caring, and concerned. Our Customers appreciated this also. I work with his brother Bob and SIL Yvonne also. Every member of the entire Plummer family that I've met have been incredible folks. My prayers go out to Tera and the entire family. May Tom's memory be a blessing.

I remember the Plummer kids as the best behaved kids at the Kingdom Hall. I Have lost tract of the younger Plummer boys but I do have a fondness for the whole family. I am so glad Larry and Tim are at our congregation. I also get to see Bob at the assembly. I am so sorry for your loss and can't wait to see the family united in paradise .

I'm honestly still numb
Tom and I interacted almost everyday
Either texts, stupid slapstick movie clips, GIFS or phone calls.
Friends of Tom´s, or mine that would meet he or I together for the first time immediately picked up that our sense of humor was the same, and sometimes the response was "oh god, there´s two of them!"
That's the hard part... the really hard part... I can´t tell you how many times for a half a second since he went under for surgery on Aug 21st that I have thought of sending him something that I saw or heard that made me smile, multiple times a day.
We knew this was a serious surgery, but from everything post op, he look like he had it beat, until he didn´t. Maybe we let our guard down.
There's just a void right now, more so than when we lost our mom & dad.
Cathy and my girls have often made trips to Florida, and it almost always included a meet up at some point with Tom. We might not have been able to spend days together while we were there due to their work schedule, but we would at least spend an afternoon laughing & snorting like two 12-year-olds.
I am 100% positive I shall see him again, but it´s the waiting that´s the tough part...

My first memory of Tom was when he visited us in Virginia. He brought Daniel a cool little self-enclosed ratchet tool set, with all the bits and sockets enclosed in the handle and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world (and thus Tom, at the time was my coolest uncle).

What can you say about one of the nicest people you have ever had the privilege of calling your " brother." Tom always had a smile that could brighten anyone's day and a joke to share. An open door for people to crash while traveling and making all feel welcome. He will be missed by all who ever had the privilege of knowing him, but we only have to miss him for a little while and we'll be greeted by that contagious smile once again. Love and sympathy to his family.

I promise to help Benjamin, Cami, and Ibriana especially, to keep their dad and grandpa alive In their minds and hearts, by helping them to know about all of the wonderful things he was able to accomplish, places he went, and the people he helped. he was not the perfect man, father, or husband, but I think that person does not exist anywhere.
I will pray for all of our friends and family to have the peace of God that excels all thought.

Tera, I cannot express how deeply this cuts. I am saddened at your loss. I'll miss Tom's jokes, his surprise "attacks," seeing his work travel adventures, and his sweet kind generosity. He had a big heart and truly loved his family. I love you bro! Love you sis, I'm here for you. May you comfort in Jehovah, until we see Tom again.

Didn´t get to spend a whole lot of time with Tom but he was a true blessing to my friend Tera. They loved each other dearly and that was clear to everyone who knew them. Looking forward to seeing him when he is awakened.
