Donna,

I was so very sad to hear of Tom's sudden passing. I worked at Apollo with him on ocassion and always found him to be enthusiastic and happy to help others around him. He was a good man who left us too soon. I lost my mother in early June and I understand the pain you must be going through. Be strong and know that you're in my heart and prayers.

Dear Donna. I just found out about Thomas and my heart just sank. Please accept our deepest sympathies. Warren, Ryan and I all have fond memories of our time spent with Thomas and TKD.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our grandson told us of the accident this w/end. He works for Advanced also; he went from Ontario as well last Sept. for work. I am so sorry that this has happened. Even though we do not know each other, our hearts go out to you. He looks like such a fine, young man from his picture and what others have said about him. May God strengthen you as you go through these sad times.

Dear Raftis Family,
I met Tom when a great man in my life passed (Bob Wilson). I will never forgot how he handed me the cutest stuffed bear I had ever seen, put his arm around me and said, dont worry things will be fine. How I wish I could have told him how much that and our friendship as teenagers meant to me. I only have positive memories of Tom. He was the best prom date and friend a girl could have ever asked for. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I met Tom at a time in my life when I needed him the most. He helped put me back together, and I wish I had the chance to tell him how much he meant to me. Dear Donna, Gerry and all the Raftis Family,

We are so saddened by the news of Thomas' passing and know that he will forever be a shining light for you all as he joins Alex in watching over you.

We remember Thomas always being such a great guy and so welcoming of Mark and Meagan into your house as you watched them for us during the day.

Thomas was always a smiley and friendly person and someone that we knew was a great person for our kids to be around.

We can only imagine the pain of losing a son/brother so suddenly and we hope that you can all heal over time to move on as he would want you all to do - remembering him like you do Alex, not dwelling on the loss, but on the wonderful memories that he has left you with over these 26 years.

My name is Heather and I am from St. Catharines. My son Devin had the privilege of meeting your son in the business a few years ago, as he was also a climber for Advanced. He called me with the news the other night, quite heartbroken, as was I. I always tried to imagine that my son was living his 'daredevil' dream and secretly said a prayer every time he went to work.
