Thomas Richardson Obituary
Germantown , TN
Thomas W. Richardson, 65, of Germantown passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Methodist Hospital-Germantown. He was born March 15, 1951 in Jackson, MS and was raised in Forest, MS. Mr. Richardson was a graduate of Forest High School, graduate of Mississippi State and a graduate of Oklahoma State where he received his Master's Degree. He worked for Sparks Commodities, Methane Commodities and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church-Collierville. Mr. Richardson is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Deborah Richardson; and son, Wilson Richardson of Memphis. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-Memphis. Online condolences may be viewed at www.memphisfuneralhome.net

Tommy and I were classmates at Forest High School (where we played basketball together) and we both attended Mississippi State University. Insofar as I recall, I have not seen Tommy since MSU and have frequently wondered about his life and whereabouts. I extend my sympathy to his family. May THE Comforter comfort you and grant you His peace. Thank you for the photos posted. After 40+ years, it was good to see Tommy again...even by photograph!

Tommy and I graduated high school together. I am so shocked and saddened to hear of his death. I always considered him a good friend, even though our paths had not crossed much in the years since. my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and son. He was, indeed, a great guy!
