Dear Vicki, my heartfelt condolences. Tom gifted me with many opportunities. And for that I am eternally grateful. His good nature and sly sense of humour were a godsend on more than one occasion! Thank you, Tom.

My gosh, I remember Tom so fondly. He was one of the greats. I have such strong memories of his wonderful smile, and his oh so calm demeanour that never wained. My thoughts go out to his family. I have just learned of his passing today. Heike and I will light a candle for Tom and his family tonight on Bowen Island as we look out at Gambier Island where he passed on. Blessings.

When you've known someone so long, 34 years, it's hard to accept that permanent fixture in your orbit is gone. We met in Toronto on SCTV when we were both young and goofy. He did so much in that time, was so successful in every aspect of his life, but he was still young and goofy, and not many get that balance right do they... xo

Tom was a wonderful Mentor, and I was lucky to have been able to AD with him. Even under stress he had a smile & was calm. A true Leader, greatly missed.

So many fond memories of years past. So sorry for your loss.

I have such fond and happy memories of Tom from the time we first worked together on 'Don't eat the Neighbours' and through all the intervening years. It is rare that a work colleague becomes a true friend but Tom's warmth and dry wit ensured that we stayed in touch. I will miss you greatly Tom - I find it hard to believe that you are gone. Vicki, I was sad to hear of this news. Tom was truly one of the 'Nice Guys', always happy and welcoming every time we would meet in the office. I was so sad to hear about Tom's death. My heart goes out to all of his friends and family. I had not seen Tom for many, many years, but recently spoke with him on the phone because he called to tell me about the death of another mutual friend. I'm so very sorry.
