Thomas Ryan Jr Obituary
Mike was a graduate of Fort Campbell High School and the University of Kentucky, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. After marriage to Amanda Garnett, native of Hopkinsville, KY, the couple moved to Valrico, where they built a family, home and business. He was known among his peers as a "Captain of Industry". Mike was a devoted husband and father and a well-loved member of his community where he was known as a generous friend and supportive mentor.
Mike leaves a wife, Amanda, daughters Madi and Morgan, parents Col (ret) Mike and Jill Ryan, Jack and Donna Durden, and Jim and Venita Garnett. Mike was an only child but loved his brothers and sisters in law, Jim and Angelica (Hullett) Garnett, Heather Garnett, and Gabe and Rachel (Jennings) Conway as well as his nieces and nephews: Savannah and James Garnett; Lilly and Lucas Leneave; and Jack and Eva Conway.
Services will be held at Riverhills Country Club, Valrico, FL on December 28, 2023, from 3-7pm. In lieu of flowers, you may send donations in Mike's name to Riverhills Country Club to support upcoming memorials in his name.

Mike was one of a kind. He showed kindness whenever he could. He would make time to listen. I´m sorry to hear of his passing.

There are too many special memories to count. Mike Ryan made my college years unforgettable from Fraternity hi-jinx, road trips, golf outings, and just good old times when we lived together above Two-Keys Tavern and on Maxwell St. Mike introduced me to many friends and acquaintances. Mike was the consummate social butterfly and a catalyst for great fun! I will always remember Mikey.
