Thomas S. DeRosa Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 5, 2025.
Oak Creek - Thomas Stephen DeRosa October 28,1941-February 25, 2025 went peacefully to his lord and savior Jesus Christ with family at his side. Tom was a great man who lived an amazing life always putting his wife, children, grandchildren, and God first. Tom's smile, humor, and easy going ways with all he encountered made the world around him a much better place. Tom was born in St. Joseph, MI to Tom and Verda DeRosa in 1941. He met Nancy (Strejc) the love of his life, while attending Coloma High School and they were married in 1961 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Watervliet, MI. They were married 62 years before her passing in January 2024.

One of Tom's true joys in life were his dogs (Charlie, Katie, and Gracie) he loved and cared for them as he did his entire family with all of his heart. Tom lived in Coloma, MI, Steamboat Springs, CO, Fort Collins, CO, Dunedin, FL, Bluffton, SC, and Oak Creek, WI. Tom is survived by his three children; daughter Lauren (Lynn), and son Greg (Michele) with granddaughters Carley, Abbie, and Jolie, and son Brad (Amy) with granddaughters Josie and Kenna. The family will have a private mass for Tom on March 21st at Divine Mercy parish in South Milwaukee WI. For online condolences please see Molthen-Bells Funeral Home website.

Greg, Lauren, Brad and everyone in your families I offer my most sincere condolences to you all. May the many memories of this wonderful man keep him alive in your hearts just as he is restored in glory with the Lord and is surely reunited with his beloved Nancy in His Kingdom.

Tom and Nancy both hold a special place in my heart as they were always so welcoming and loving - even giving me a place to live for a short time. So many fond memories of time spent with them and with all of you.

Too much time and distance has come between us, but my love for the entire DeRosa clan never fades. May the peace and grace of God be with you all at this time.

Rest in peace, Tom. You & Nancy were lovely neighbors and are missed. (Eternally grateful to you for sharing Gracie with us. Glad we were able to help as foster pawrents in your time of need.) Sincere condolences to your loved ones. - Julie & Steve
