I first met Tom in biology class when we were juniors at Whitehall-Yearling High School. but it wasn't until the past few years that i really got to know him So it stunned me when he told me the news of his illness on his last visit to San Francisco earlier this year. It ended up being the last time I saw him. I loved how much he reached out to other classmates whenever they came to Florida. You left us way too soon, Tom. My deepest condolences to Connie and the Saffle family.

Very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We grew up living next door to each other in Whitehall and had several good times. Enjoyed talking with Tom at the last class reunion.

Connie and family, Through all the years in Whitehall schools, I never realized that Tom and I were both born only a few months and miles apart in Germany and that we both went to Catholic Elementary schools, before heading to Whitehall. I would have loved to talk to him about all of it. I was glad we were able to see you both at the reunion. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
