Thomas Lee Schmidt M.D.

We send our deepest sympathies to Kathy, Margaret, and the entire family. Tom was our neighbor: always smiling and cheerful; always willing to help with anything; he was a neighborhood role model whether it was walking his dog, riding his unusual bike, or showing us how to back into our driveways so we could pull into the street more safely! Tom will be missed as a neighbor, a friend, and an all-around good person. In Yiddish: Tom was a mensch.

My deepest sympathy to Kathy, Margaret, and your family. I always enjoyed "catching up" with Dr. Schmidt at the Mid-America meeting. He will be missed.
