My deepest sympathy to Dr. Tom's family. As many of the others he delivered me, then saw me as a patient always, kind and caring. Dr. Bill has delivered both of my children with the same kindness and humor as his father. My prayers are with the entire family during this time.

My sincere sympathy to Dr. Scott's family, friends and office staff. Dr.Scott was instrumental in the diagnosis, treatment and cure of my mother's cervical cancer in the 1960's when I suppose he was fairly new in the practice (she had previously seen Dr. Parrish). Dr. Scott delivered both my boys (now 28 and 30) via c-section in the late 1970's. I don't think I ever saw Dr. Scott that he didn't ask about my mother and family. He was always kind, compassionate and caring .. a great physician here on earth. I hope you, his family, are comforted knowing that he is now with the GREATEST physican.

I was sadly notified of Doctor Tom Scott's passing. He was my child hood buddy, medical school roommate, and life long friend. His integrity and medical talents were always admired by me. His smile and good nature permeated his life. My sympathy and love are extended to his wonderful wife, Iris and his entire family. He is missed by all his friends. Jerald L. Watts M.D.

I recently learned of Dr. Scott's passing. He was my doctor almost since the beginning of his practice in Orlando. We both shared a great love for reading and Dr. Scott often wrote the best prescriptions for books. Reading his obituary reinforced my opinion of him, that he was a wonderful family man, a loyal friend, and a dear person who performed his job with great compassion for his patients. I will surely miss him.

I only learned today of Dr. Tom's passing. He was my doctor until his retirement. I still continue with Dr. Bill. During his residency he assisted his Dad, Dr. Tom with my surgery and I remember joking with Dr. Tom about how well he was training his son. How fortunate to be able to pass on your knowledge and experience to your child. I have missed Dr. Tom since his retirement and I know he will be missed here but we can rejoice that he's singing in the choir in heaven.

To the Scott family,
It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Dr. Scott. I didn't hear until Monday, I would have like to come to pay my respects. Dr. Scott was my first gyn/ob at the tender age of 19. He guided me through two pregnacies and delivered my daughter (he wasn't on call the night my son was born!). And the young Dr. Scott delivered her son! Dr. Tom Scott's gentleness and humor was always appreciated. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the Scott family on the death of your husband and father. Dr.Scott delivered two of my children and I loved him as I have loved no other physician. His gentleness, kindness and wit made the dreaded visit to the gynecologist almost a pleasure. He was looking forward to traveling more when he retired and I am so sorry he didn't have more time to do that. We will miss you Dr. Scott.

To the entire Scott family and especially precious Iris;
Your Tom was an amazing man who I admired greatly. After delivering Carrie (76) , Christie (77), Casey (79) and Cady Ruth (81) he never failed to make me smile. Sitting by him in choir also was a special treat though that didn't happen too often. He had the gusto and enthusiasm to keep us all laughing. Now to renew the Scott legacy Larry and I enjoy Dr. Bill as he delivered our grandsons. Tom played a mean hand of bridge and will always be a special friend who I treasure. Thank you, Iris for sharing and supporting this loving man. The service was eloquent just like you and all the Fishers send our deepest sympathies. I will think of Tom every time I see some Peeps, and when beautiful music is sung. Another tenor in the heavenly choir!

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Scott family.
I learned of your loss on the morning of, during a visit to Dr. Tony Scott.
Dr. Tom Scott was my doc from the time I was 16 years old, which was in 1979.
He was definitely the most caring, gentle, and kind doctor I've had. My experiences with his wife and daughters were the same.
Dr. Tom always made time to explain every procedure, answering my numerous questions.
From my miscarriage, the birth of my son, and numerous surgeries throughout the years, I had complete trust and faith in his abilities.
I have so many fond and humorous memories of Dr. Scott.

Dr. Parrish delivered me when I was born so after I grew up it just seemed natural to go to that practice for either of the doctors to deliver my children which are now grown with children of their own. Dr. Scott wound up being my doctor and I named my son Scott for a couple of different reasons, him being one of them. I even argued with him that I knew my son was a girl and had to check for myself to see because he knew how I wanted a girl second and was always joking with me about it. ( After I saw my son I would not have changed it for the world) He was a wonderful doctor and did not in any way make you feel uncomfortable.
I will miss him as I am sure others will.

Dr. Scott was my doctor, my friend, my guide for over twenty years. He seemed to know me better sometimes than I knew myself. There wasn't a better doctor out there. He was kind, compassionate, caring. He was never too busy to sit and talk or call on the phone. My prayers are with his family. God bless you Dr. I will miss you very much.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for Dr. Thomas Scott. He was my doctor before Dr. Bill became my doctor and delivered my two girls. I loved Dr. Scott and didn't dread going to my annual visit because of his sense of humor. He was truly one of a kind. I believe his is in heaven now at the right hand of our loving father.

Dr. Scott delivered me in 1977. He told my Dad "Well Joe, it's the female type". It was his sense of humor and compassion that made my first visit to him 19 years later an easy one. In the years to follow, he always showed care, concern and compassion for me. He always spoke highly of his family and faith. My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. Dr. Scott was greatly loved and will be missed.

To Dr. Tom's family. Dr. Tom delivered my daughter, Michelle in 1970. He and I talked about Bill and Michelle every time I went into his office.
"Dr. Tom, you had the most gentle hand when you would lay it on my shoulder and pat me and say everything is going to be ok. You would always take time to talk to me even when it was standing room only in your waiting room. I feel like part of my family has gone to heaven to sing. God needed another singer and he picked you. I will miss you and I will pray for your family as the days go by."

Dr. Scott was referred to my mother and me by Mary McNamara when we moved to Orlando in 1970. I had my first gynecology appt. with Dr. Scott. He could be called Dr. Ouchless...very kind and professional. He cared for my mother until his retirement then passing the baton to Bill. What a wonderful legacy. Dr. Tom, you will be missed here and so very welcome in heaven. Renee Patterson and Frances Jones

And I will pray that GOD will help you all have the physical and mental strength to get through this trial in your lives. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Dr.Scott delivered my precious son, and was sooo excited to see that my Ben survived. Dr.Scott and all of us were praying for my son to live, and he did..no other doctor has EVER showed so much love and compassion to my family as he did. He will always be in our hearts, and I know God Almighty is proud to welcome him, even if we all are so very sad to lose him.
Dr. Scott's family will be in our prayers, as we know their heart is breaking.

Dear Scott Family, I had the privledge of knowing Dr Scott both professionally and personally. He was a wonderful physician but even more, he was a wonderful person. I don't think I ever saw him that he didn't have a twinkle in his eye or a smile on his lips. His humorous view of life was such an uplifting inspiration to all those he encountered. We were all blessed to have known him and will miss him greatly. May the peace and comfort of God be showered upon you today and in the days ahead.

I was a patient of Dr. Scott's for many years and he was a great person, doctor and friend. He always wanted me to share my hair with him because I have a lot and he didn't; it was a standing joke every time I saw him. He always kidded me about my last name and the fact that Clem Kadidilhopper on the Red Skelton show was one of his favorite characters. He retired just before I moved to GA 2 years ago and I can truly say, I haven't come in contact with another doctor that even comes close to being the person that Tom Scott was. My condolenses to his entire family.

My sincerest sympathies to the Scott Family. I have special memories of Dr. Scott, especially of the FPC-O high school choir trip to Europe in 1991 that he chaperoned along with Mrs. Scott and their daughter Lori. At Dr. Scott’s request, a picture was taken with him and the other ‘babies’ he had delivered that were on the trip... I was fortunate to be there and loved being a part of that picture!!
