Dale and I just heard tonight from Kathie about Tommy's passing, We are truely gonna miss him. Our hearts go out to you and your family. If you need anything at all give us a call. We will always be there for you. Sorry to hear about Tom's passing...I feel real lucky to have
known him and to call him friend. A true BLUES MAN with
the soul of a master. The State Fair will not be the same
without his smiling face at the Cotton Candy Stand. Rave on

I'm sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of Tom, his music and his great outlook on life. 23rd and Washington, 42nd and Lyndale, Mr. Lucky's...and many days of band practice in my parents basement will keep his memory alive for me.

Uncle Tom,I have so many fond and very funny memories of you,you have and always will be my very favorite uncle.I always thought of you as very "cool".We didnt talk much but I thought of you often.Barbara,Michelle and Shelly and the boys,I am very sorry for your loss.And always remember he will always be around watching over everyone.

I don't know if you will remember me. I went to Centennial High School with you. You were a year older than me. My name is Shelly. We lived in the Paul Revere Court in New Brighton.
I still think of you from time to time wonder what you have been up to. You are such a beautiful person. Inside and out.

Tom helped me get started playing blues piano in the 60's, I was fortunate to have done a few gigs with him, his sense for music was awesome. I will miss him.

"Tom was a Super Bass Player, Guitar Player, Organ Player, and most of all Super Entertainer. All of this wrapped up in a Super Guy.
I've known him since Tom Sechrest and the Dorado;s in 1960 at Mr. Lucky's. Please Tom prepare a Place up there for us. May "GOD BLESS YOU".

he was a wonderful friend and mentor. he really helped us (the lancers) with embracing the blues many years ago. and i personally "shared" jfk's assasination together with tom. so many early memories. our condolences !
