Sorry to hear about Tom's passing, condolences to the family. I met Tom around 1970 through friends Candy and Janice (from Copley) we were all friends. I remember Tom to be a real gentleman. Gone too soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 27 years of coming in and seeing Dick and Tom. I have fond memories of my time spent at Dicks. Dick would always ask if I was still doing mortician work even though I was a stone mason or asking how my gun and scope was that he put on 8 years earlier. I especially liked the back and forth ribbing Tom and I would have with one another. Everyone at Dicks were always great to me and my family and all will be remembered with a smile. Rest In Peace Dick and Tom you were both one of a kind.

I often visited Dick's Gun Room just to see and speak to Tommy. Tom sold me guns I wasn't even looking for! He was the light and soul of Dick's Gun Room and I will miss him very much. May the lord be with Rita in this tough time.

I've patronized Dicks Gun Room for probably at least 30 years. I knew Dick as well. Tom took the business over when his father passed. Tom always treated me more than fair on all transactions, and I enjoyed the bartering and joking. I will miss all that worked there especially Chuck and Gary. Rest in peace with God forever.

I bought my first gun from Tom at DGR, and many more since. He was a great guy and always ready to crack a joke. I'm sad to see him passing so young but thankful for what he gave the community. Blessings to his family.

I have been a customer of DGR since the very early days and got to know everyone pretty well. I enjoyed bargaining with Tom over the years, usually losing but enjoying the process nonetheless. I've know both he and his dad, Rita, Chuck and Gary it seems forever. Go with God.

I was very sad to find out
Tom had passed and the store has closed. I was doing business with Dick and Chuck before the Gun Room opened.
I feel like I have lost a family member and wish I could have come in and said goodbye to everyone one last time.
My Condolences go out to Mrs. Seelinger and everyone at Dicks Gun Room.
I will never forget the great times I spent with you all.

I will miss this place. I bought my first gun here. I was 18. A Stevens 311 Double.
I bought my Colt Python in 1976, at Dick's.
I always enjoyed the "old time" feel of the store. If you took the time to look around, there was a lot of History. I would stop in just to say hello to everyone. Many times, I found a firearm, that came home with me, because of the way I was treated.
I had many conversations with Tom, about motorcycles, boats, pyrotechnics, and Experimental Aircraft. This was a great guy. He always cut me a deal. Life is to short.
I will always remember. Ray Woods

My father bought my first gun from Dick and as an adult I bought my first gun from Tom. I knew all I needed about the Tom by the respect my father held for his father. I am saddened by the news. The family will be in my prayers tonight.

The Seelingers always seemed to 'adopt' their customers in one way or another - at least, I sure felt that way. Tom's kidding about 'why are you here?' was always given with a smile and a glint of mischief in his eyes. I'll miss him a lot. God bless you with eternal peace, Tom, and sincere condolences to all your family and friends left behind.

Tom will be forever missed! I'll never forget his smile, his laugh, and his jokes. I grew up on Berlin and spent many years in my childhood camping at Hidden Cove with Tom. Nights spent around the fire as he told many jokes making us laugh. I remember after his double knee surgery being back to barefooting 6 weeks later, which he enjoyed bragging about often. Tom, I miss you and may you Rest In Peace.

Rita, Mike and the Dick's Gun Room Family -
We are so sorry about your loss of Tom. He had a big heart and that infectious Seelinger rapier wit. I'm sure he and his Dad are having some illuminating conversations (and telling familiar jokes!) around a campfire right about now. I'll never forget the good times working at DGR, with Tom making the tough deals and me following behind, cleaning up the paperwork. He was quite the character! We will surely miss him. May God bless you, keep you, and grant you peace... now and always.

Simply put, Tom was one of my favorite people, ever. In 2007, he and his mom Rita sort of adopted me as webmaster to redo their website. I had been a Dick's Gun Room customer prior to then but it cemented a friendship with the Seelinger family that I will forever cherish. I will surely miss Tom's deadpan greeting to me as I entered the store, "Hey, what are YOU doing here?". There are so many things we will miss about Tom, not the least of which was that sense of humor. I know it's cliché but he was truly a unique and interesting guy. At his calling hours, it was plain to see how many folks truly cared about him and valued his friendship. That certainly includes myself. Tom, you will surely be missed but never forgotten. As I posted on the website, happy trails to you, my friend...until we meet again. Godspeed, buddy.

Our Deepest Sympathy & Prayers go out to all the Family and close Friends of Tom. We were right next door to Tom at Berlin lake for 6 years. There is not enough space to type in all the fantastic memories and good times my entire family enjoyed with him. He called us often out here in Arizona to "catch up" and often talked of coming out. His personality was contagious and My heart breaks knowing I will not get that call and his loving spirit again. Tom 'Wilson" as we called him You will be missed way beyond this tribute! Rest in Peace and Look after us . Love You man! The Benedict Family { Tom , Randee & Hallie Lynn}
