I went to PN-G and Tommy went to T J.. We met through a mutual friend and spent time together during high school.. Tommy was such a nice sweet guy... We did not keep in touch after high school.. I'm so glad he had a good life with a woman he loved. I'm sure he was an adoring husband and wonderful father.. May God hold his family in his hands as they grieve their loss.

I was so sorry to hear from Shirley while I was traveling out of state that Tommy had passed away. I worked with Tommy for nearly two years in Permian Premier Health Services. But, I felt like I had known Tommy for a lifetime. Not only were we business associates and colleagues, but I was honored to become his friend. Tommy Shapiro was one of a kind, and he will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the others he helped along the way in his very full life. Best wishes to Shirley and family. My prayers and thoughts are with you all!

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Shapiro family....I met Tommy many years ago when I worked for a local physician...after a few years I left that practice and moved to Permian Premier....Tommy came in a few months later and he was now my boss....I was so excited to work for him because I knew he was a go-getter! Tommy was an awesome man and he was such a joy to work with. There were many times that me and many of the office managers were frustrated with our offices but Tommy was always there to listen to us and give us advice on how to fix it. He was a highly intelligent man and always wanted to give us the knowledge that he had learned along the way. Tommy will be greatly missed!!

Dear Shirley and family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. We will always remember Tommy as a big part of our lives in Odessa, especially at the former W&C and then ORH. He was so much fun to be with. I still remember the Taos ski trip. We will always have fond memories of him. Rest in peace, Tommy. Make them laugh up there in heaven.

I remember one night I worked, I was written up 3 times by one physician in one night. The next morning as I was leaving and Tommy was coming to work I sat in his office. He asked me why I was there and I told him what a tough night we had in L&D and about the write ups. I told him I came to pick up my pink slip so I could sleep in tonight. Tommy laughed and said "Lisa if you didn't get written up every now and then, l'd wonder if you we coming to work." He was a great man and I'm proud he was my friend! Lisa Platner

I will miss Tommy's sharp wit and he always had a good joke. I saw him just 3-4 weeks ago at his house while I was out working and I stopped to visit a bit. And, we would see each other on Sunday afternoon's at Catfish & Company for coffee with ham radio friends. He will be missed.
My prayers go out to the family.
