I was not a theater major but took a theater course as an elective ar SHSU, and then experimental theater based on Dr. Soare's recommendation. It was a fascinating experience. He taught me much about motivation, as he was one of the most motivating professors I had in my academic career. RIP Dr. Soare.

Dr. Soare was my very first college professor at Sam in 1972. He taught Speech and the classroom was in the Old Main Bldg. He was an excellent professor and I still tell stories from his class. May God Bless Him.
