Thomas Soltys Obituary
Beyond his professional life, Thomas was a passionate enthusiast of traveling, finding joy in cooking. He also enjoyed boating, biking, hiking, kayaking, and white-water rafting. His love for Michigan Football was well-known among his friends and family.
Thomas was a beloved husband to Terry Soltys, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his family members Lawrence, Larry, Michael, Carol Sobolewski, Ed, Pam Tilton, and Janet Altmann. Also, many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol "Mimi" Sobolewski, brother Frank Soltys, and his parents Frank and Genevieve Soltys.
A memorial service is planned for October 5, 2025, at the E.G. Nick's at 825 S. Main St., Lapeer, MI at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org, an organization Thomas held in high regard.
