I am just learning about Tom's passing at this time. I send my condolences to his family and his friends. I knew Tom professionally through consulting with him for about two decades. He was one of the smartest and wittiest humans I have had the honor to work with. He was clear and thorough with his technical explanations of how things worked, and he was always down to earth with his communication style. He was always asking the right questions, and added his humor in to a discussion perfectly and appropriately. I will certainly never forget Tom. Rest in peace!

Dear Soule Family,

I am sorry to hear of Tom's passing, my sympathies. I knew him from the Combustion Engineering, Field Service Engineer / Performance Design Engineering days. He was a great friend, engineer, and mechanic. The obituary truly captures the essence of Tom.

Dear Soule family, I was so sorry to hear of Tommy´s passing. Gone too soon. The obituary is such a loving tribute to him and to his life. I first met Tommy at Jamie and John´s wedding all those decades ago and my husband Frank became friends with him through sports. The last time I saw him was at Mad and Lee´s wedding. I know your lives are forever changed but you have a wealth of memories and each other to ease the sadness.

To Jane and to Tom´s family:
My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved Tom I was very sad to learn of his passing. I first met Tommy when his family moved into our neighborhood in Enfield. We were in sixth grade together and became friends. I have fond memories of getting into mischief and playing sports together in the neighborhood, and camping trips with the Boy Scouts. We graduated together from EHS and went our separate ways.

Reconnecting in the early 80´s, Tom and Jane graciously invited me to their home up north for a weekend of sailing in York, Maine. Of course, there was no wind! So Tom and I spent the time drifting on the water reminiscing and talking about his beautiful growing family. What I remember most about that weekend was how warmly I was welcomed into their home (even though Jane barely knew me, and Buddy was very young)! It was clear then, as was so beautifully written in Tom´s obituary, that his family was everything to Tom.

I hope you are able to find some comfort in knowing how much Tom loved you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies,
Dave Wright

Sending love and condolences to the entire Soule family, who so generously were a home away from home growing up. Stories about Tom were often my favorite bedtime stories as a kid, and he will be forever imprinted in fond memories. He is and will be missed greatly.
