So sorry to hear about Tom's passing. Tom was a great guy to know. I remember Tom as a friend of mine when I lived in Pleasant Hills in the 1970's. Had sodas with Tom numerous times at what was his favorite hang-out (Roy Rogers) in those days. I loved how Tom as a firefighter would actually RUN as fast as he could from his house (1 mile away) to the fire department when a call came in. Also remember going to Penguin games with Tom. He was a super fan. Can't help but smile when another friend and I talked Tom into trying ice skating at the South Park ice rink. His first time on skates (he was around age 24), it was slow going, but he gave it his all! Rest in peace Tom.

Sorry to hear of Tom s passing but he is no longer suffering. I got to work on 3 north last Saturday and shared a few tears with him because I was going on vacation and knew I wouldn't get to see him again. I saw his condition declining so much and I wanted him to know how special he was to me. He will remain in my prayers along with you , Phil , Gary and Grace! I will still be away for the service but know that I will be there in spirit! Beverly Prelick , nurse at Paramount.
