Thomas M. Staub

DOVER Thomas M. Staub, 58, entered into rest at 11:58 a.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Pamela J. (Stough) Staub. The couple celebrated 26 years of marriage on October 14, 2012. Born August 10, 1954, in York, Thomas was a son of the late Leonard J. Staub and Fay J. (Sheffer) Staub Entler. Thomas attended Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn., and was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a life member of the West York VFW Post 8951. In addition his wife, Thomas is survived by twin daughters, Tammy S. Hernandez and husband, Leo of York, and Amy S. Staub of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Joan Shindel of Seven Valleys; a brother, Chester Staub of Battle Creek, Mich.; and a half sister, Tammy Tome of York. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Thomas' Funeral Mass at 3 p.m. with a viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 219 S. Beaver St., York. Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Wolf's) Church Cemetery, York, where veteran honors will be presented by York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Officiating will be Father Samuel Houser. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 219 S. Beaver St., York, PA 17401.
