Rosemary Schmeltz, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Nottingham Care Center. 
 
Rosemary was born April 18, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, to Vincent and Rosemary Schmeltz. She is survived by her brothers Vincent Jr., Stephen, Jeffrey (Catherine), Justin (Joan), and Martin; and her sisters Janice (Thomas) Steck and Louise (Thomas) Starr. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Karen DeMilt.
 
Rosemary was a life-time resident of the Kansas City area, graduated from Loretto Academy in 1967, was a long-time employee of Bullseye Sales, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Her life was dedicated to being the best-ever aunt to her 33 nieces and nephews and 59 great-nieces and nephews.
 
The visitation will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3106 Flora Ave., KC, MO 64109 at 9:00 AM Friday, July 28, 2017 with Rosary and 9:30 AM and Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or The Franciscan Sisters of Christ the King, 1409 E. Meyer Blvd., KC, MO 64131.
