Thomas Stofer Obituary
Webster: A loving husband, father and papa who passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016, age 88. Predeceased by his wife, Mary; brother, William. He leaves his children, Tom (Diane), Joe (Nani), Duke (Gloria), Kathy (Michael ) Giering; grandchildren, Doug, Garrett, Ethan, James, Jennifer, Tyler, Lillian, Robert; great-grandsons, Carter & Owen; many nieces & nephews.
Tom was a Coast Guard veteran serving during WW II. He graduated from RIT and spent his working career in the paper and printing business. He was an avid golfer and fisherman but he mostly enjoyed spending quality time with his wife and family. He will be greatly missed.
Friends may call 4-7 PM Friday at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial 9:15 AM Saturday at St. Rita's Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster. Interment at West Webster Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to a charity of choice.
Tom's family would like to thank the staffs of Cherry Ridge, Ranier Grove, RGH B-7000 wing and St. Ann's 8th floor for their loving care.

I am sorry for your loss. I miss having him sneaking up on me while I was working on the third floor and that little laugh he would do when he succeeded in scaring me.

Tom and I have been friends since we made Cursillo back in the very early 80's 82 I think , Mary and my wife were really GOOD friends as was the Family . lost track of Tom and Mary till Mary passed away . I was at the Funeral . The next time was at Cherry Ridge where I used to go to Mass . AM sorry to hear of both of them Passed.
They are in a BETTER PLACE, my prayers are with them daily .
