Met him on a 10 day WFR course. He was so upbeat, can-do and kind to everyone. Really enjoyed catching up with him here and there through Appalachian Mountain Club involvement.
Wishing his family and friends sincere condolences. And wishing him eternal rest in peace, love, joy.

I was in the band in high school with this guy. We canoed the Flatrock River from Edinburg, through Camp Atterbury, to Columbus together. He and I put on a canoeing demonstration in the Donner Park pool. Linda Followell was a majorette that I dated once. Tom married her.

My first memory of Tommy and all my older cousins that comes to mind is when they all climbed our Grandparents´ apple tree. I had finally gotten tall enough to climb into it as well and Tommy and Joe kept climbing higher and higher in to the tree. I was amazed at how high they could go. Even as a young teenager he was climbing! Know that Jerry and I are keeping you all in our prayers and thoughts. Sending a virtual hug to all the family. Love, cousin Amy

I worked with Tom for many years at Ropes & Gray as a member of the public finance group, where he was known as a very smart and able lawyer and a key partner in the group. I learned a lot from him. My sympathies go out to his entire family. He will be missed.

You'll be missed, Dad. Thanks for being an amazing father and for all the wonderful memories we made together camping, skiing, hiking, rock climbing, canoeing, orienteering, making music, Christmas trees 15 ft tall in Acton, swimming at Grandview and the Lake House, going to South Africa, spending time with your grandkids.
