THOMAS E.
Age 77, of Mt. Washington, on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Beloved husband of Judy Campbell Thamert; loving father of Mary Kay Schreiner, Shawn (Derutche), Thomas (Amy), and Tony Thamert; loving grandfather of Nina, Alyssa, Mark, Christian, Michael, Tommy, and Ryan; brother of Jack Thamert and the late Mary Blanshan; survived by loving family and friends. Tom was a Big East College Official, lobbyist for Equitable Resources and an inductee of the Western PA Sports Hall of Fame and newly dedicated Mt. Washington Sports Hall of Fame. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War. Friends received Friday 6-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the BRUSCO - FALVO FUNERAL HOME, INC., 214 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington (412 381-2323). Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Mount Church on Monday, 10 a.m., followed by Military Honors by VFW Post 5111. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
