Cathy, so sorry to hear the passing of Tommy. I worked with Tommy for 15+ years at Birdwood Golf Course. He never passed my office without coming in to say good morning with a smile on his face and a joke to share with me. We had great times together sharing stories and memories. A true gentleman that will be greatly missed....Rest in Peace My Dear Friend.

To the family my sincere condolences . I was very fortunate to have had the privilege of playing for and coaching for Coach Thommy Theadose .Thanks for the experience and memories on the Track ,summer 2-a-days ,pre game neck vein popping talks which helped fortify me for life.

Tommy was just a great guy and a legend in his time. I'll never forget his wonderful dancing at our 30th reunion in 1991. I'm truly sorry he's gone.

Great coach who always got the best out of us whether in track or any other endeavor. Learned a lot about perseverance and doing one's best from him. A lot of what we learned did not become apparent until adulthood. Have thought of him often since leaving high school. May he rest in peace.

Coach Theodore was a Father figure, Coach, teacher and a brilliant mind. He was tough when it was needed but had the ability to understand the problems of our youth. A great one is gone but will never be forgotten. RIP Coach

Tommy Theodose was a man among men. He brought honor to his schools, his community, and his family. Tommy left Charlottesville better than he found it. His presence will be missed, and his memory treasured. May he rest in Heavenly peace.

I had Coach Theodose for a PE teacher and track coach. He pushed us hard to excel but was a great coach and educator. One of the great ones Bill Mallory - Lane70

Their was a time when something public and important would have been named for a man like this.
