Thomas Turula Obituary
He was born in Longview on June 11, 1941 to Elmer and Irene (Isaacson) Turula. He lived in Longview, Kelso and Castle Rock before moving to Crescent City, Calif., in 1955. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma in 1963 and received his masters degree from the University of Wyoming in 1965.
Mr. Turula's career took him to Wyoming, Idaho, Hawaii, Indonesia, Jamaica, East Timor, India, Armenia and Serbia. Most recently, he was a senior consultant with Bearing Point, Inc., where he was instrumental in building the insurance regulatory system in Kosovo.
He was preceded in death by his brother Michael in 1989.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy Turula; a son, David Turula; a sister, Carolyn Kerr; two brothers, Dwight Turula and David Perry; and his stepfather, Earl Perry.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 7075 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
A private cryptside service will be held.
Local arrangements are by Mountain View Funeral Home in Tacoma.

Hello, my name is Citra Noviasta and usually called Ovy from Jakarta - Indonesia.
I know Mr. Tom has been a good person since I was little, I took care of him like a child.
In 2001, after graduating from college, I followed him to Kosovo. and not long after that I returned to Indonesia.
After I returned I still communicated with him.
And finally I found out that he had been treated in India and died.
It hurt to hear the news and I couldn't be there, on his last day
He is a wingless angel for me. The person who is always there for me.
I love him like my own parents
May Mr.Thomas A Turula be placed in God's Heaven. Amen...
