If mine and Sue's father had but one wish for his beloved daughter, it would be that she find a husband that cherished her as he cherished her mother. His wish was fulfilled beyond all measure by her only love Tommy. Steve Hansen

The Gulf States PGA was fortunate to have Tommy as a long time supporter and friend. He touched so many through his career in golf, both professionals and amateurs. His contributions to the game will be forever felt in our region!

Sorry to hear about Tommy. I always enjoyed playing golf with Tommy in the Club Championship at English Turn. A great player. He was always helpful with USF&G Classic. If I needed anything when I ran the Merrill Lynch Shoot Out , he took care of it. I saw him recently at Sal & Judy's. First time in years, nice as always. Sorry for your lost. Mr. Wulff did wonderful things for New Orleans through his leadership of the golf tournament and of English Turn. Indeed, I think it fair to say he saved New Orleans as a tour venue. I was a sports writer for the Times-Picayune back then, and I saw first-hand what a great job he did and how crucial he was in keeping New Orleans in golf's "big leagues." I also wanted desperately to join English Turn, even though my wages were quite low right out of college, and Mr. Wulff noted for me a "junior membership" program (not meaning children, but for adults up to age 36) that I could manage and walked me through the approval process. (I think I was the first, and for a couple of years the only, junior member.) I greatly appreciated it, and thoroughly enjoyed my days playing golf at English Turn. Tommy Wullf was a dynamic man who made good things happen, and also a very nice man. My condolences to his family. -- Quin Hillyer, Mobile, AL

Nancy and Steve, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, Brian told me several stories of what a great man your father was.
