Thomas He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Adrian Yarbrough; and sister, Jean McCrellan.Survivors include Mae Talley Yarbrough, wife of 53 years; daughter, Edith Yarbrough Salter and husband, Mike; granddaughter, Peyton Cook of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Billy E. Yarbrough and wife, Katherine, of Indialantic, Fla.; in-laws, Ruth A. Denton, Gladys Todd Jones of Florence, Ala., Billy Talley, Claude Talley and Ella Sprague of Cherokee, Ala., Vernon Talley of Killen, Ala., and Richard McCrellan of Pensacola, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the memorial service.Faith Chapel Funeral Home, 100 Beverly Parkway, is in charge of arrangements.The family will appreciate flowers. However, donations can be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Andrew United Methodist Church or The Hospice Residence.Dad lived and died with dignity and a quiet courage that endured until the end. We cry because of the void and smile for all that he has left. The family wished a special thanks to all of his close friends and caregivers that have been so considerate and supportive. Those who have done and meant so much are too numerous to name. Their kindness shall not be forgotten.
