Thomas YEOMANS Obituary
August 3, 1923 - May 2, 2017
Tom died on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn; his parents; six siblings (two in infancy) and a half-brother. Tom is survived by his three children, Sandra (Rod) Rath, Dianne (Greg) Swanson and Richard (Chris); nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; his sister Ivy; sister-in-law Willa, and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was born and raised on the family farm just outside of Regina. He joined Sask Power as a draftsman at the age of 17. In 1941, at the age of 18 he joined the Air Force and served in P.E.I on a radar station. On his return, he resumed work at Sask Power, working at various positions in management until his retirement. Tom met his future wife, Evelyn Laughton at Sask Power and they married in 1951. Tom will be remembered for his love of gardening and carpentry. He designed and built the family home in Regina and the cottage at Regina Beach. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit
