Kolbinson and Tronstad families:
Sincere condolences from this Brunskill gal who was so fortunate to have been given my very first job at "Thordy's" . Thordy was a wonderful boss and a truly fine man with a never-ending twinkle in his eye. In later years, I had the pleasure of revisiting the Kolbinsons in my classroom at Lakeridge School.
Deepest sympathies to all.

Loretta, Dean, Cheryl and Karen: I am so sorry that Thordy has passed. Growing up across the street, I so admired this warm, gentle man with a great sense of humour--a true gentleman. I have many memories-and in particular I could count on him coming across the street to see me on those special occasions, my Graduation, Wedding Day,getting a new car, for example. I was always touched by that--he took the time to be interested in others. You will miss him--as will I. You are all in my thoughts.

I knew Thordy for many years calling on him as a Pharmaceutical Rep. at Brunskill Pharmacy and then as a friend
at Nordon Drugs. He was a quiet and very kind man with great sense of humour. I remember him checking the pay phone change slot in the parking lot everyday before his shift at Nordon. Norm and I added a few quarters
just prior to his coming on shift, which made Thordy's day. We never told him that we planted the coins.

Sincere condolences to the family. We lived in the area of Brunskill Pharmacy for many years and indeed am grateful to Thordy for always being there. It was always wonderful to visit the Thordy and remember his very kind nature and friendliness. He truly was a wonderful person. Grateful to have known him.

Thordy was the owner of the pharmacy next to Mohyla Institute on a Temperance Street, where I spent my university years. Forty years later, I still have very good memories of the good man he was, and how much fun he was to be around.
My sincere sympathy is with all of his family.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dean a couple of years ago and saw that Thordy left a precious legacy in this world.
