Tilghman Leverington, Jr. Obituary
Tilghman C. Leverington, Jr., 78, of Schnecksville passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sylvia L. (Sipe) Leverington to whom he was married 58 years last May 26. Born in Allentown, September 15, 1942, Tilghman was the son of the late Tilghman C. Leverington, Sr. and Joyce E. (Beck) Leverington. He was a graduate of William Allen High School. Tilghman was employed first as a Machinist and then a Quality Control Inspector at Mack Trucks, Inc. in Macungie for 40 years before retiring in 2003. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Sylvia; son, Michael C. Leverington of Allentown; daughter, Kimberly A. Wagner and her husband, Fritz of Neffs; brother, Robert Leverington of New Tripoli; granddaughters, Denelle Moyle and her husband, Colin, Brooke Wagner and her fiancé, Brandon Mohrey; great granddaughter, Cosima Moyle.
Service: A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. No public calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com
