Tim Neal Obituary
Tim was a graduate of UTC, Magna Cum Laude and received his Masters Degree from Georgia State University. He was a Guidance Counselor at Red Bank High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce J. Neal; brother, Kevin Christopher Neal; grandmother, Jeanette White and grandfather, Glenn Foster, Sr.
Tim is survived by his children, Zoe Elizabeth Neal and Kevin Jackson Neal both of Soddy Daisy; mother and step-father, Glenda and Ron Griffith of Hixson; brother, Mark (Angela) Neal of Decatur, GA; half brother, Justin Giffith of Norfolk, VA; grandmothers, Minnie Rader of Red Bank and Jane Foster of Ooltewah; grandfather, James K. White, Sr. of Summerville, SC; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center, 4500 N. Access Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415.

This is such a huge loss for his family as well as the students and staff of Red Bank High School. I will never forget the kindness that was shown by Mr.Neal during my daughters treatment. Mr.Neal made things so much easier when she could no longer come to school and was going through her chemotherapy. He was one of the few people who continued to check on my daughter during the summer to see how she was doing. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Tim will be greatly missed by many individuals especially his family, student's, and colleagues. He was a kind person and I will miss him at our counselor meetings.

My daughter and I first met Tim a couple years ago and he has been her counselor since then. Tim never failed to be there for her if it was a question on education issues or if she just needed to talk. He will be so greatly missed. Tims kindness, his love of the students he worked with is something that cant be replaced. I just wanted to take this time to let his children Zoe and Kevin know what an exceptional man your Father was.There are so many kids that your Dad touched that will go on to do great things in life. You were lucky to have him as your Dad and I know his spirit will always be with you. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this time when all of our hearts are broken. Tim will forever be "Dude" to me and "Mr. Dude Tim" to my girls! We are all saddened by the shortness of his time with us. He will be forever missed.

Tim was one of my oldest friends, although we had lost touch in the past few years.
I know he loved his kids. My heart goes out to his mother Glenda and brother Mark. It is just very, very sad.
I love you Tim. I have a ton of great memories, brother. May you rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Tim always seemed concerned for the students and was always helpful when I would come by the school to visit students. So sorry for your loss.
