Mr. Tsang was a sweet man. My mother has been friends with his daughter since they met in high school. I am now in high school. (This may seem out of context now, but as a child I had an unfounded concern that I was adopted, which deeply upset my mom.) A few years ago, I said hello to Mr. Tsang and he paused for a moment before asking, "Sherry?". Sherry is my mother's name. This warmed my heart because he recognized my mom in my face, which has made me feel more connected to her since. Whatever childhood worries I had were dashed away with his words.
