Tim C. Tyler, 45, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Rush Medical Center, Chicago, Ill. Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, Ralph J. Wittich Funeral-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, 1931 Houser Street. Burial will be in Nichols Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Tim's memory to Mary Koehler for Tim's nieces and nephews Education Fund. Online condolences may be left for the Tyler family at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Mr. Tyler was born Jan. 25, 1959, in Muscatine, the son of Fred C. and Betty M. Pike Tyler.
He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever. He was a 1977 graduate of Muscatine High School. He also graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in fisheries and wildlife biology and animal ecology. He was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity.
Survivors include one brother, Thomas L. Tyler, of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Mary L. Koehler and her husband Eugene 'Bones', of Davenport, Sally K. Kourousis, of Omaha, Neb., and Patricia A. Fromme and her husband Bob, of Fort Collins, Colo.; one aunt, Luetta Winfield and her husband Ed, of West Liberty; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
