Heartfelt condolences to this one of a kind gentleman. We first met a few days after he was drafted by the Red Sox. He was a client in the law office where I was the paralegal. Tim was always kind, genuine and unique. I will never forget our chats as we walked down the hall to his attorney´s office, with his arm around me as we smiled and chatted. He was a wonderfully kind man. As a lifelong baseball fan, Tim had THE greatest knuckleball I have ever seen. RIP my friend.

I respected Wake in so many ways. But never more so when nearing the end of his career, he chose to stay with the Red Sox. He took a pay cut in his contract because it was so important to him to retire as a Red Sox player. He didn't do it for the money, he did it for the love of baseball, Boston baseball. RIP Wake
