Timothy C. Brown

Timothy C. Brown, of East Norriton, passed away peacefully on Monday July 6, 2020 at home with his family. He was 64 years old and very loved. Born May 1, 1956 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ellery and Gloria (nee Filorama), and the beloved husband of Nancy (nee Semisch) Brown with whom he shared almost 31 years of marriage. Tim was an avid sports fan, obnoxiously loud at times while watching football, and found true passion in coaching AAU basketball for over 30 years. He was an excellent cook, never used a recipe and loved to plan holiday meals for weeks ahead of time. Tim enjoyed listening to music and some of his favorites were Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Otis Redding. All of the nurses knew this about Tim and they couldn't resist playing Free Bird for him as he was placed on the stretcher to go home. Although not a morning person, he loved his 6:00 am Friday morning bible study at church followed by his weekly trip to Q Mart (lovingly dubbed "Knick Knack Friday" by his sister). In addition to his wife Nancy, Tim is survived by his three children; Christopher Brown (Danielle), Kendall Brown, and Nathan Brown, seven grandchildren; Riley, Quentin, Isabella, Maddox, Ellery, Ian and Cory as well as his sister Roberta Ventresca. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Timothy's viewing on Tuesday July 14, from 9 to 10:50 AM followed by his funeral service at 11 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. Interment will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont. There will also be a celebration of life in the near future, which the family will announce at a later time.
