My condolences to Tim’s wife and the Carney family. I am very sorry for your loss and hope you can find comfort in your fond memories of Tim. I mostly remember Tim as a child, as I was (still am) a close friend of his older sister, Coleen since 1960.
May he Rest In Peace.

To all the Carney family, my deepest sympathies. I saw Tim many times in the Ballard neighborhood and most recently talked to him about a week before he passed. He was always very friendly and happy to talk. I know he will be missed by so many people.

I'm sad for this loss to all who knew and loved Tim, to all those whom he touched with his kind and gentle demeanor.

I met Tim thru kayaking. He was always there to lend a helping hand or standby in case help was needed. He was inquisitive in experimenting with technique, he had an encouraging influence to all, and was always a steady, calm presence.
He will be deeply missed.

My prayers are with all of you and I am so sorry for your loss. Big hugs to Terry and to Bridget. I can remember years ago after meeting in grad school that I heard Terry talking about Tim. I always thought it was so special that Terry married Bridget's brother. I can tell Tim was a kind soul and will be missed by many. I guess he'll be in heaven fixing things and I hope you have many memories to hold in your heart.

My heartfelt sympathies to the Carney Family. I was fortunate to meet Tim when he helped coach kayaking classes through the Mountaineers. He was patient and encouraging. I could see that he was a gentle man. Getting to spend that time with one of the Carneys made me feel happy and like a kid again. It brought back fond memories of being a long time classmate with Eileen, and later with Maureen in German class. There is a wonderful legacy within the Carney Family. God bless.

Such sad news to hear - hugs to Terry and all the Carney family. Our last time with Tim was at Salty's a few years back and is a wonderful memory - I know that you have so very many more moments to treasure. May his soul rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Tim's passing. Tim grew up across the street from my family on Capitol Hill. Later he helped me out many times with repairs at my house. He was a genius at fixing things! But what I will especially remember about Tim was how he helped my father with caregiving duties when my mother developed dementia. Tim truly went above and beyond. I will always remember Tim's generous spirit. He will be missed.
