Timothy DuBois

Timothy D. DuBois BALLSTON SPA - Timothy D. DuBois, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Born in Ballston Spa, NY on May 28, 1946, he was the son of E. Donald and Dorothy DuBois. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran and proudly served in the 101st Airborne Division. Tim worked for General Electric, Cottrell Paper Mill, Quad Graphics and retired from the Waterford Halfmoon School District. He was a lifetime member of the Malta Ridge Fire Dept and member of the Malta Ambulance Corp. He volunteered as a coach for the Ballston Area Recreation Committee. Tim loved coaching and coached several sports including basketball, baseball and bowling. Tim was a strong supporter of Veterans. Together with his brother Paul they founded the Mountains to Miracles Veterans’ Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to help and serve veterans in need. Tim is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary; his children Kevin DuBois (Joan) of Ballston Spa and Lisa Sagendorf (Todd) of Green Island; grandchildren, Sarah, Lacey, Rebecca, Blake, Chayton, Kyler, Emma, Marissa, Travis, and Braedon; sister Claudia Smith (Bill) of Malta; brothers Jack Brackett of Victor, Paul DuBois of Scotia and Larry DuBois (Claire) of New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10am Thursday, February 16 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Burial with military honors will be at Powell Wiswall Cemetery, Ballston Spa in the spring. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 15 from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
