Timothy Gainor

So sorry to hear about Tim. Tim was a very important part of my childhood at Moose Lake. He taught me how to waterski, how to build a fort with 19 inch rusty nails and how to ride a minibike when we stole ( I mean borrowed) the Lamb's minibike. When I return to Moose Lake I always remember the Gainor Cabin with the red bunkhouse and I remember being chased by Bonzo (I think this was the name of your dog...I think she or he lived to about 175 dog years). The only dog I could outrun by only walking.

Tim take good care of my brother Denis and Fin junior, you are a great guy, thanks for the memories.

To Michele and the Gainor Family:
It has been many years but that does not diminish the fondness which I recall that time of my life when we were close, especially those years when Tim ran his Pro Business Centre on Saskatchewan Drive in Edmonton. Tim’s place was less of a business office and more of a hangout for a small group of fraternity brothers of our vintage. I remember Tim’s warm smile, his gentle spirit and his sage counsel in those late twenties / early thirties as we struggled to find ourselves and our ways. Tim was a true gentleman whose friendship has left an indelible imprint on my life. I am truly sorry I am unable to travel to Calgary today to share in the celebration of Tim’s life as we say goodbye on this very sad and unfair day.

My condolances to Michelle, Aidan, Sarah and the Gainor and Gibson families. A big man with a big heart.

Condolances to all the Gainor Family. I had the pleasure of working with Tim at ADCOM many years ago. Tim always had a smile on his face and we all enjoyed many laughs along with many stories of the Fly Fishing and Ribs.

Tim will be missed by a great many people as he left footprints on many hearts.

I have such fond memories of Tim .I was his grade 1 teacher at Notre Dame school .My deepest sympathies to his family.

My sincere condolences to the Gainor family in their sudden loss of Tim. Upon learning of Tim's death my memories of the Gainor's and Tim brought me to Moose Lake where I got to know Tim and his family in the 70's . My memories include Tim and I raiding my Grandfather's garden to make a huge meal only to be followed with our "homemade milkshakes". So many fond memories in the Gainor's red "bunkhouse", building our huge tree fort behind their Cabin and endless days on Moose Lake in our small motor boats. It has been years since I have seen Tim, but I did get to read his very kind words in relation to my brother Denis is his guest book. Tim you and I spent alot of time together at Moose Lake and I hope those memories carry with you in your passing. Again on behalf of the entire Fontaine family our deepest sympathies to entire Gainor family.

It was a real shock to hear about Tim's death. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

I have great memories of Tim from when I joined Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity (the Dekes) at the U of A and his old business on Saskatchewan Drive. Tim always helped out the fraternity and was instrumental in the publishing of our first members directory. While I had not seen Tim in too many years I was very sad to hear of his passing - he was one of the good guys. "Friends From the Heart Forever"

So sorry to hear about Tim's passing. I knew him from the U of A as we were in the same fraternity. I had not seen him in a number of years but I sure do have a number of fond memories.
