I'm sad to say that I just found out about Tim's passing today, and it broke my heart to hear it.
I worked with Tim for several years at Texas School for the Deaf, and he was one of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met. I can honestly say I never saw him without a smile on his face, and he would go out of his way to say hello and offer a friendly word. We used to talk about baseball, especially in 2016 when his home state Cleveland Indians were playing my beloved Cubs in the World Series : ) He always made a point to ask about my son, who plays baseball.
I had changed offices last year and didn't run into him as often. I just assumed that I would see him soon and I'd interrupt him painting a door or a hand-rail and talk for a bit as we usually did. (And for what it is worth: the stuff he painted always looked great.)
My sympathy goes out to his family. He was a genuinely good guy, the type you wish there were more of where you work. I pray our Lord and Savior, Jesus, will wrap you in His Loving Arms and fill your hearts and minds with wonderful memories of Tim.

Love you so much Uncle Tim. I am glad we talked and texted as often as we did. You always brought a smile to my face. Rest easy.
